SAFETY
UK & AWARD WINNERS
Safety
Trolley Systems (STS) won the Design and Innovation Award at the BBC
Tomorrow's World International Invention Fair 1999 for a revolutionary
new trolley they designed which is a completely new approach to lifting
and moving heavy items. The first model produced is specifically
designed to handle drums of up to 210kg in weight and it is selling
extremely well in the oil industry. Safety UK are now working
with STS to develop different trolley ranges including one for the transporting
of beer barrels that will be very popular amongst draymen; other adaptations
will see a trolley capable of negotiating stairs, handling compressed
gas bottles and packages of varying weights and dimensions.
